Want to see what happens when you mix an 18 month old and baby powder?

 Yep, she was covered. Along with everything in that little corner of her room where she had been.

 It was seriously everywhere. The best part? Big brother confessed. :)

 I was pretty mad (it had been a rough day) but then all I could do was laugh because she's obviously too little to know what she had done. When Cooper saw how funny we thought it was, he proudly admitted he did it to her. We weren't quite as happy anymore. :)

Alyson loves to be like her big brothers lately. She's started getting the stool and her toothbrush so we can brush her teeth like her brothers (still working on getting the stool where it needs to be to brush). Last night we were leaving Home Depot and the boys were running to the suburban. She wanted down and then took off running (as much as she can with her little legs) right after them.

Aly is so much fun. She loves all the boy stuff - cars, four-wheelers, motorcycles, airplanes, but also is a girl a little bit (not too much). She loves her bows and she loves shoes. She can also say both words which is cute. Lately when we ask her things, instead of saying yes she says yep. Not sure where it came from but she does it. She's also learned to say what when we say her name. She's growing so much! It's fun to watch her. I can't believe how big my baby is getting!

Painting Pumpkins & Halloween

Thanks to Roberts closing their Cedar store I got some paints for around $.20 a piece that the boys used to paint their pumpkins.

 I had them strip to their underwear and put their Home Depot aprons on so they wouldn't get it on their clothes. They were loving it!

 This little girl is the cutest thing. Along with loving hats (see previous post) she loves glasses. She brought these Mr. Potato Head glasses to me to put on her and every time they came off she'd bring them back for me to put on again!

 Attempted pictures at the end of the night after going to all the dealerships in town (they do trunk or treats - games and candy), a ward party with chili and more trunk or treating, and going to a few houses in the neighborhood. I love Aly's smile! I was squatting to take their picture so she wouldn't stand up. She had to be down like mom.

 My cute ninjas. Luckily their costumes from last year still fit (Cooper was a little too tall for his) so Jared and I wore our Ninja Trainer shirts with them.

 I call Aly "bug" a lot. When she first started walking she'd walk like a stink bug sometimes so the name kind of stuck and I shortened it to bug. It was perfect when our friends gave us a lady "bug" costume that fit her perfectly! She was the cutest little bug!!

 Today I made cookies and after the boys had had 1 or 2 cookies we told them no more. Later Crue tells me Cooper's under the table with a cookie. I just laughed and took his picture.

Then Crue wanted me to take his picture under the table with a cookie too. I have the cutest boys!

Random, Crue's Birthday, Nitro Circus

We went to St. George to help Jared's mom plant a tree that her HOA said she had to have. 

 Jared and his dad had a race in his dad's 2 scooters. It was a tie.

 All the grandkids with Grandma except for Jared's sister's 3 boys that live in another state.

 This little girl loves hats like you wouldn't believe. She steals the boys' hats or daddy's hats and puts them on, even if I just put a bow in her hair (which she also loves).

 Why play with the toys when you can play with the basket they go in?

 The Saturday before Crue's birthday my parents and my brother & his family were down from the SLC area. My sister and her family from Cedar and all the rest of us went to St. George (reason below) so we went to lunch at Red Robin to celebrate Crue's birthday.

 Along with a free hamburger they brought ice cream and sang to him.

 My brother's work (he lives with us and works for H&S Performance in St. George) was putting on a big thing with drag races, dinos, and track runs. Nitro Circus performed that night. Jared, Cooper, Lex (my other brother), and his son Porter in front of a BIG truck (so big there was a crossmember in the way of putting the driveline in so it was only 2wd).

 My brother that was visiting has this big rc vehicles with independent suspension. It was flexible and the boys had fun with it (big and small).

 Crue's birthday was the following Wednesday. We got pizza and our friends met us at the park to surprise Crue. It ended up being pretty cool so we took the cupcakes and ice cream home. I can't believe he's 5 already!

Crue was telling me he wasn't tired and didn't need a nap one day. Yeah, looks like it. :)

Camping and Fishing

Labor Day weekend we went camping at Te-Ah campground by Navajo Lake. It was a lot of fun. Crue only got lost once, Aly was the only one injured, and we got to see a deer right by our camp. I didn't take a ton of pictures but here's a few.

 Cooper was sitting on the hill by where we were cleaning up dinner playing with rocks in a frisbee by himself and having a great time. Eventually cousins joined him.

When Jared and I went in the trailer one night for bed we peeked on the boys and found their faces together. Cutest thing ever! And great blackmail picture for when they get older (yearbook picture maybe?). :)

 You can see Aly's nice line across her forehead in her hairline. I put her in her booster seat that is attached to a camp chair by the fire. She was on a slight slope but I thought she was ok. It was at Jared's brother's campsite (next to ours) and I went to get stuff for breakfast. Next thing you know she screams and then holds her breath (she's good at that). Turns out she had tipped forward and hit her head on the fire ring (which had a fire going). It either didn't break the skin or burned it instantly on just that line so that there was no blood but the scab did come off later. She now has a nice little scar there.

 Larry helping Cooper fish. He is someone Jared knows from being a customer at Bradshaws. He's a retired Highway Patrol officer I think. He was there when we got there and Cooper instantly made him his friend (he talks to anyone unless they talk to him first, then he's shy). We went the next night too and he was there with his daughter.

 Jared helping Crue. Crue's 5th birthday was at the end of September. We gave him an adult size camp chair (he's too big for the kid ones) and a fishing pole when we went camping Labor Day weekend. He loved it!

We caught Blue Gills and Jared caught a little trout at Lake at the Hills. When we were camping we went fishing at Duck Creek but didn't have any luck and then tried Navajo. Holy cow the water is low. It's also extremely muddy when you start getting close to the water. Jared was the only one to catch anything there and it was a little trout. It was a lot of fun and we decided to buy year long fishing licenses instead of week long ones so we can go whenever (you buy 2 week long licenses and it costs more than a year long license).

T-ball

Crue was old enough to play t-ball this year. He really liked it. He did pretty good too. At his first game, before he had even had a practice, he hit the ball, ran to first base, then started walking back. He didn't know to stay there. We had a good laugh. Luckily that's what t-ball's all about. We tried explaining the game beforehand but there's only so much a little boy can remember. :) He did better after having a practice and then going through more games and practices. His friend's dad was the coach so that was fun for him.

 Crue had the cutest cheering squad between Cooper and Aly. :) Both grandparents were able to make it to a game too which made it fun.

I'm excited for more t-ball. Cooper is excited to play when he's old enough and Aly will probably play too. I love it!

Memorial Day Camping

We went camping at Three Peaks Memorial Day weekend with my cousin and his family from Vegas (I've only invited him several times and he finally came:)). We went out Thursday night to set up a little tent I have and leave our Blazer, a couple of chairs we don't care about, and some firewood so it looked like someone was there and save our spot. Not that we needed to. The campground wasn't filled up. We went out Friday after work. Jared and I had Sonny Boys for dinner (YUMMY!!) and the kids had Arctic Circle.

My cousin, Caleb, his wife Lisa, and their son Tyce, got there late Friday night. We helped them set up their tent real quick. Jared and Caleb had a hard time getting their air mattress to fill up (it has a built in pump that they found out too late, has to be charged). They finally got it blown up and it went flat in the night (it worked the next 2 nights).

Our campsite. We got a tent trailer a few weeks ago for a really great deal (Jared's wanted one since he was little) and I was SO glad we had it. The wind that was only supposed to be around Friday, had so much fun it stayed Saturday too. It was not fun at all. We all ate in our trailer and I spent some time in there out of the wind. The boys however, were just happy to be climbing on rocks and playing in the dirt. Notice our tarps around the pavilion to help block the wind.

 We took our pit bike and Blazer to have fun on while camping. Jared and Caleb each took the boys for rides (the boys LOVED going for rides). Caleb and Cooper - who continually asked for a ride.

 Cooper had smashed his finger really bad in Aly's walker. It took a while for Jared to get it out because he was holding Aly while I had gone for water. He ended up putting her down and opened up the walker enough to get his finger out. Jared said it was awful knowing Cooper was hurting and trying to figure out what to do since he had Aly. He was crying when I got back so I held him and put a bandaid on his finger so he'd feel beter (he wanted one). Then he wanted a ride on the pit bike and said it would make him feel better. He was happier after that although it still hurt the rest of the day.

The little boys all hopped in the back of the Blazer to go rock crawling. The big boys hopped in front and left all the girls at camp. They had fun and Jared and Caleb were glad for a break from the pit bike (the seat is hard and they were getting sore bums).

 Tyce is so cute. The boys had so much fun playing together (there were fights at times but they did good).

 They caught a lizard (not sure who caught it originally) and the boys had fun with it.

It had jumped on Cooper a couple of times and Tyce once.

 Each family took a breakfast and a dinner to cook for everyone and then did their own lunches. We both had done dutch oven chicken and potatoes with a cobbler/crisp for dessert. In true redneck fashion, we're cooking on a radiator. It was so good!

 Aly, Tyce, and Crue enjoying the fire. We actually got to sit and eat outside Sunday when it was beautiful weather. And we had a fire complete with smores (my favorite).

I had sprayed some greasy sunscreen in her hair (the only spray kind we had) and it went greasy and crazy after that. Don't worry, she was still so dang cute.

 Jared found part of dead tree that he tried to pull back to our site with the pit bike. Didn't work. It needed the truck.

 The boys liked pulling the bark off it for the fire.

 When Jared and I went to get ready for bed that night, I found the boys sleeping next to each other. It was so cute! (Thanks to Caleb for the glow sticks each night.)

 They found a huge lizard as we cleaned up camp but it eventually ran under a rock before they could get it.

It was a lot of fun and I'm really glad Caleb, Lisa and Tyce came. Thanks guys! Hopefully next time we can go and not have such terrible winds. Crue, Cooper, and Tyce all had so much fun together, and even Aly got to join in on the fun sometimes.
