"And it came to pass...."

We read scriptures every night with Crue. We usually read part of a chapter and "help" him read some of the verses (helping consists of us reading a phrase and him repeating). We got him one of the triple combinations that are the soft covers like the missionaries give out. He was so excited. Tonight we sat down to read and he opened up to the Topical Guide and showed me where he was going to read. Then he proceeded to say "And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto me". I guess that's been a phrase mentioned a time or two in the scriptures. :)

*The primary was having them mark charts and for each month they read at least 25 days they got a sticker which in turn gave them something for an ice cream party in July. One month was a banana. Two months was a scoop of ice cream. Three months was an additional scoop. It goes on including a couple of toppings and a cherry on top (I can't remember which months were which). Unfortunately, yesterday they re-did ward boundaries and a lot of our ward got taken out and put into two other wards so who knows if he'll get his party. Oh well. We may just have to suffer and have ice cream sundaes at home with him. :)
