Quite the review

I was looking at the Home Depot ad online the other day and noticed a dual flushing toilet. We were curious as to what that was so I looked the product up online. I like to read reviews sometimes and even though we aren't planning on buying a toilet anytime soon, I started reading the ones for this particular toilet. I read the first review and was laughing so hard (with tears in my eyes) that I couldn't even read it out loud to Jared. He also laughed pretty good. So, for your entertainment, here's some potty humor. :)

Ever since I can remember I've had adversarial relationships with toilets (God gave me a large diameter colon, I think), so when we were planning a 1st floor remodel to make room for a powder room, a good toilet was at the top of the list. Good meant no clogging, quiet, no clogging, water-efficient, no clogging, nice styling, and most of all, no clogging. I settled on this GB dual-flush unit by studying the MAP test results, in-store flush ratings, and these product reviews.
Installation was easy and straightforward. Based on others' comments I allowed a little extra time to explore how the instructions and parts fit together, and encountered no problems. I used a thicker wax ring just to be sure. The seat and lid styling are nice, but as others have noted the lid is too flexible for sitting or standing. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Performance is fantastic. I installed it a month ago and have not had a single clog. Our other toilet (an older 3.5 GPFer in the main bath) would clog once a week or so and I could count on spending quality time with the plunger every time. No more - I'm free! I also measured actual water use with the water meter and it's spot on - 1.6 and 1.1 GPF - and the toilet is super-quiet.
This is amazing performance, and combined with a low price, it's just incredible and I'm totally happy. I'll be buying another one of these ASAP to replace our main bath toilet.
