This is how we started out the hike - Cooper getting a ride and Crue walking with them.
Then Cooper wanted to walk.
I was happy to get all 3 looking at me. You can see a lot of the wildflowers in the background.
I LOVE this picture of the boys! It cracked me up when I noticed they all had the same foot in front. I have such cute boys. :)
You can't forget the girls! Alyson looked at everything as we were walking to the water and then she fell asleep and slept most of the way back. She's a great camper and hiker - we took her camping when she was 6 weeks and again at around 2 1/2 months and she's just over 3 months here.
I had to get a shot of the girls walking.
Cooper hanging out on a rock for a minute while Jared fixed my sock (it had come halfway off my foot in my shoe and I couldn't get my shoes on or off with Aly in front of me).
Waiting out some rain. I love his smile and his entire expression when he smiles big for me!
The boys walking on a trail along the pond (while I tried fixing my sock). It's so beautiful there.
I love this picture! I like how some parts are in focus and others aren't. I was trying to take a picture of the bumble bee so I was a little sad when it didn't focus on the bee. It was hard bending over with a baby strapped to you while there's bees/bumble bees buzzing around you and you're scared of them. So I took one picture (the bee had also changed flowers right before I took it) and then got out of there.
These pink flowers were beautiful! We only saw a few more so I was glad I got this one shot. My batteries were dying so I changed them when we stopped at the pond. These flowers were only on the Lower Trail and we came out on the Upper Trail.
This picture shows most of the varieties of flowers (at least with color - we saw a bunch of white ones covering one area too).
The meadow on the way back had a bunch of mini sunflowers. It was awesome. You can see some purple and a little bit of red flowers mixed in as well.
And of course Cedar Breaks. This is from Chessman Ridge Overlook.
Another shot. It was really pretty with the cloudy skies and rain.
On the way home we stopped by the campground that we're having our annual ward campout at so I could have accurate info for a map to hand out. There are beautiful aspens and a big meadow to play in.
How to know when you've had fun. :) Cooper crashed right before we got home.

Great pictures. That trail looks wonderful. You'll have to tell me how to get there. I miss seeing your lovely face on Sundays, and I hope your family is doing well! :)
I Love Cedar Breaks. Sometimes I forget how lucky we are to live where we do!!!
