Done!

Monday night we (finally) finished the fence. At least between the yards. We need to close off the yards for both houses but the biggest part is done. It looks really nice. And it hides our ghetto yard from those coming down the road and helps make our neighbor's yard look a lot better (since there's a nice fence backing it, not weeds and vehicles).
Carson was dropping a toy in the hole (I think) so they decided to put him in there and told him they were going to bury him. He jumped out quick. He probably would have played in the hole all day if they let him.
The finished wood fence (from our side). They have a cement slab and basketball hoop in the back of their yard so we made that half of the fence look nice for their side and since the other half is more where their house is and where the middle of our yard is, we put the nice part facing our house. It also made it easier than switching back and forth for each panel.
All the poles for the SimTek fence. It goes from a 6' high fence where the wood starts to the back of our house (where we'll close off our yard) and then drops to 4' high fence.
The finished product from the nice side (and the two that did most of the work).
Someday our yard will look nice like this. :) Their yard already looked nice but it looks really good now with the SimTek behind it.
And from our (not so) lovely side. We'll put some bushes along there eventually, not to hide the fence but to add to it. Now Jared's wanting to do something to hide the dirt on this side of the house where he parks the Blazer. Any suggestions of something cheap to do? He's thought of the cement things that you put down and pour the cement in and it makes the cement look cool (some look like stones). It's definitely looking better now though with the fence. I can't wait to work on the rest of the house and have it looking nice!
